Recurring billing

When direct web billing is available, subscriptions renew automatically at the cadence and recurring price shown at checkout until canceled. Before payment authorization, checkout must disclose the recurring price, renewal cadence, any trial and first-charge timing, taxes, cancellation method, refund policy, and other material purchase terms. The transaction terms shown at checkout control the purchase.

Manage, upgrade, downgrade, or cancel

When direct web billing is available, Aeviva intends to provide subscription management through Stripe's hosted customer portal. Available plan changes may depend on the plan and portal configuration. Customers may cancel future renewal through the portal. Unless checkout, the portal, or applicable law states otherwise, cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period and stops future renewal charges.

Refund policy

Subscription fees already paid are generally non-refundable and are not prorated for unused time after cancellation, except where required by law, required by payment-provider rules, or necessary to correct a duplicate or erroneous charge. This policy does not limit non-waivable consumer rights.

Free trials

If Aeviva offers a free trial, the enrollment flow must disclose the trial length, whether a payment method is required, when the first charge will occur, the recurring price after the trial, and how to cancel before the first charge.

Health-data separation

Subscription processing is separated from Aeviva's local health-intelligence runtime. Health measurements, Apple Health or Health Connect records, camera or audio telemetry, wellness logs, N-of-1 observations, and Personal Response Graph data are not permitted in Aeviva commerce requests.

Restore access

Aeviva uses signed entitlement receipts to verify paid access locally. A recovery mechanism may allow a customer to restore an entitlement on another device while rotating the local commerce credential. Recovery codes should be stored securely.

Important

A checkout redirect alone does not activate paid access. Access is granted only after verified payment-provider state results in a valid server-signed entitlement. Availability of checkout may vary while Aeviva is in a launch-pending or maintenance state.
